I on the other hand prefer to think of it as exceptionally cute. This is my gorgeous girly at just under six months with a ridiculously cute hairband planked on her head (and it is not a fascinator, regardless of what Keris might think ;)).
Of course she doesn't need it, but that doesn't take away from my right to make her look like an eejit as cute as possible and take photographic evidence of same.

Awww- so sweet. Lovely at that age when they don't moan at the pretty things you put in their hair as they when they get older.
Chic Mama is right - my oldest daughter has beautiful, long, thick dark hair and she insists on wearing it tied back all the time in a pony tail. Cara is only gorgeous
Claire, the girl is only gorgeous... I also used to put floral hairbands and cute beret-style hats on my daughter's head way back in 1993 but she pulled them off and threw them away within seconds. We have photos of her pulling said hats off her head but she has said she will kill me if I post them on my blog. Maybe I'll risk one photo one day soon... Enjoy these days, pet, because one day you'll be sat at home fretting while Cara is out and about with her pals. That's the stage I am at now. Sniff.
PS. Why don't you buy a pink curly ribbon headband for yourself, and then the pair of you could go to Tesco together - and watch everyone smiling and being very happy and amused???
Hee! Now you've mentioned Keris' fascinator, that's all I can see it as! If there's no hair to hold back it can't be a 'hair'band surely?! But she's completely adorable and seems to love looking beautiful - bless her - now I want one! (not a headband/fascinator)
Claire, please do what Sharon says and get one for yourself. I would pay money - real money! - to see that :)
(And how is it different from a fascinator, hm?)
She is completely gorge, of course.
She's fascinating enough to look at without the pink stuck to her head. What a sweetie. x
