Things that go bump in the night...

Okay, so I'm off to the doctor tomorrow.
And I may have to expose a breast.
I am very nervous about that but I can't ignore the fact that I think I may have found a lump.
Of course I did just have a baby (well, 5.5 months ago) and it most likely will be nothing. After all 95% (or something) of breast lumps are nothing - apart from lumps, obviously.
But I feel a little jittery.
And being me I feel a little catastrohphy-y (NB: I'm allowed to make up words. I am on "me nerves").

I shall report back... hopefully with a "and guess what, the darn lump went away before I even had a chance to get me baps out" story...

I'll pray that you get cheerful news! Not to sound gross or anything, but probably a milk gland/duct. Will wait for your results with you, hoping for the very best. ♥

Claire don't fret, lovey (sound like a proper Mum) . Like you say 9/10 it's a herbaceous gland. I had lumps once when Alice was little and doc was concerned enough to get me back in once a week for a month to check their 'progress'. Turned out to be stress-induced nodules or something and when I realised that they kind of dissolved away. You need to chill and sleep more, girl!

Good luck with your appointment! I hope it's nothing serious, but well done you for getting it checked out.

Best of luck, Claire. I've been there and it is scary, but as you say, 95% of the time it's nothing to worry about. I've had about eight now, and have stopped freaking out and accept that I just have lumpy boobs - just what every girls wants!
